Get to Know Nikki!
“Hi, I am Nikki, born and raised in Hammonton. I love spending time in nature, reading books, and traveling every chance I can get. I recently finished my 200-hour Hatha yoga training from Lavender Koi Yoga in Berlin. I began my yoga practice in 2020, and it has grown into a passion of mine. For me, yoga is so much more than the physical practice. It is a combination of a wholesome philosophy and a balanced lifestyle. As someone who has experienced extreme OCD and depression, yoga helps me find that calm center and reminds me that I am separate from my thoughts and emotions.
My goal as a yoga teacher is to hold a safe space for others to experience detachment in a beneficial way. I want to help people step out of their minds and into their body, to learn to trust themselves and the process, and to connect with their soul. Being in the present is easier said than done, especially in a world full of distractions. I believe with consistent practice and patience, presence becomes a natural way of being.
I love teaching slow vinyasa because it really allows you to fully experience each posture while focusing on your breath. Sitting with discomfort calmly is a challenging practice but leads to a worthwhile transformation. My friend always says to give yourself the grace and space to grow, and I encourage others to stand by those words. I am honored to flow with others and to be a guide for those who need a reminder of their light.
